ARE GOING TO MAKE IT

- We Are Going To Make It Safely To The Other Side. The text we will be addressing
comes from Mark 4:35-41. Our focus is going to be on verse thirty-five which say's:
That day when evening
had come, Jesus said to His disciples
KJV - Let us pass over unto the
NIV - Let us go over to the other side
Let us cross over to the other side of the lake"
Was this a mere exchange of words between a handful of fishermen
and the Savior, or was it a promise in the making? Could it be possible that Jesus
knew ahead of time the events that we're about to unfold? Before you say, "No",
you may want to consider passages such as; Lu 12:39, Jn.1: 50, Jn 16:30, Luke
11:17, John 19:10,11
Also that it was nighttime when Jesus initiated
this encounter was no mere coincident. Jesus, being the Master Teacher that He
was, was about to impart to his disciples (students) a very vital lesson concerning
The lesson, (one of many) He was about to teach them
was that, he, Jesus was and is, "the God of day(the times we feel the safest),
as well as, the God of the night (our darkest hours). Psa 74:16
There is nothing that the Savior, and
Captain of our souls can't see us through. The LORD protects what is His. 1 Pe 2:25 Even when we are unbelieving, he abides faithful.
2Ti 2:13 Believest
Now I want to share with you how I see this verse read. Jesus say's
to you and I this very moment, "get in the boat, I am going to see you
safely to the other side" [DZR].
When the storms of life assault your ship, don't panic, don't be
afraid. And especially don't throw your crowns overboard. Hold on to then, for
time will soon give way to opportunity for each of us to cast then as the Savior's
