For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Romans 14:8

Not only were we created by GOD but it is He who continues by HIS word to uphold all things. As a result of all of this, we have no right over yourselves, to use our bodies as we see fit, our to promote or advance our own kingdom. We are bound to GOD to live for Him and HIM alone.

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men." 1Corinthians 7:23

We are not free to dispose of our body, and any of it's facilities as we may think proper. We will stand accountable before GOD as to issue. 2Corinthains 5:10 warns us, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

Many of us continue to live and use our bodies as if it were our own. But that does not change the truth of Scriptures which clearly remind us, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1Corintians 6:19. This is not a suggestion, but a command.

Christian we are not our own, and we must not behave or act in a way that takes what is the rightfully the LORD'S in order to pursue our own personal gain and interest. We have been purchased; we belong to God; we are HIS by redemption. HE paid a precious price, the very best HE had, therefore, we are bound to devote ourselves; that is, our body, soul, and spirit, as HE directs, to the glory of HIS name, not the indulgence of the flesh.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. Romans 14:9

The place where God's will is to be carried out is in our bodies. We are to bring our entire body under subjection to the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Paul said in 1Corinthians 9:27 "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." He also goes on to say in 1Corinthians 10:31 "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

ARE YOU GLORIFYING GOD WITH YOUR BODY AND SPIRIT? How do you do that, you ask? Romans 6:13 tells us, "Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God." The word "yield" means, stand (before).

Have you done that today? Have you stood before the LORD and presented yourself a living sacrifice? If not, take this opportunity and turn to the ONE who is forever faithful, and in true humility give yourself over to HIM.

Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. AMEN!
